There is a fabulous place for plants in Simonton. They have a large inventory. Go west on FM 1093, once you pass the 4 way stop, go another 3 miles approx and you’ll see it on the left.

Your tenant pool will be lower income group. Many of them work at the plants. IMHO, it’s a very rough area and high crime. Check local police department for police reports.

@Nathaniel Walker I am sorry for what you are going through also. Where have the honest hard working people gone these days? They all want to over charge for work and especially if they know you are in a bind/crisis. Schools are not teaching trades so the skilled labor is now being done by those who have very little experience. You should have seen a plumbing job done at my property. Such poor workmanship and lack of pride in one's work. Besides the fact none of their work passed inspection.

Thank you

@Jesse Mao I have already ordered one from Amazon. I ordered a Bosche. I know I can learn how to use it and understand the readings. My experience with the foundation company is that if I don't want to pay for piers under the complete foundation, they are not interested in doing any work at all.

Now... to find a reliable honest plumber. Two have already lied to me and tried to cheat me. This is all in South

Seeking a company who does foundation work in Houston. The first company I called seemed eager & promptly arrived to get info for a bid. When I let him know I wasn’t doing the entire foundation & only what actually needed to be done, he’s never called back or given me a bid to complete the work. Where have all the honest & reliable companies gone?
