@Alex Corrion - I see this situation all of the time with my investors.  That's why I have them check out my Unsecured Line of Credit program.  It's the best way to access immediate cash, $5k, $10k, $20k, etc....it's a Business Credit Card program, where you have large limits, that you can not only use as a conventional credit card, but also covert a portion to cash.  The program is based solely on your credit profile (late's, debt ratios, FC, BK, derogatories, etc...).  Minimum FICO is 680.  Happy to share additional details, if interested - [email protected]

I see this problem ALL of the time with my investors. That's why I push them to do our Unsecured Line of Credit/Business Credit Card program. They can convert some of these high-balance cards to cash from the $10k to $50k range, when situations like this arise, and regular HML's won't touch them because of the low loan amounts.
