Okay, solved. Goodman wrote another e-mail and changed their mind:

I have consulted with the warranty department and was advised that the multifamily residential properties do receive a 10 yr warranty however a qualifying lifetime compressor warranty will only apply to the single family owner occupied residential installations.

This is the official statement from Goodmann that I got via E-Mail:

Thank you for contacting Goodman/Amana’s Consumer Affairs.

If your are planning on using the property for rental, the unit will get a 5 year warranty. Onwner occupied properties receive 10 years.

Hi,

I have been using Goodmann ACs on SFRs so far. However, I just found out, that the 10 year warranty is only for owner occupied property, rental property has only 5 years.

Do you know of any brand that handles this differently?

Has anybody ever worked with them?

Hi Paul,

Welcome!

I don't know anything about mobile homes, but if you have other questions about the area, feel free to contact me. I have bought several houses and have been around for a while.

A while ago somebody recommended a wholesale store for builders including windows etc. here, but I can't find that posting.

Hi,

For a rehab in Clearwater, FL I need an 8 ft. patio door. Could be a sliding door or french doors.

Home depot and Lowes have only expensive ones.

Any idea where in the Tampa area I could go?

Thanks

Stephan
