You should try looking in the north side of Chicago maybe for multi-units to rehab or even in some of the suburbs here would be great too

Downers Grove is great for house flipping in my opinion. You can get great foreclosures, short sales, etc. at a good low price and get a great ARV and cash flow because you can rent out at about $2500/mo for a single family home rental and people are generally willing to pay that price for the area and the DG schools.

Welcome Eva! To answer your question, yes, have a contractor see if they can come with you to see the property in this case. Ask them when they're available to visit the property and then Your Realtor can set up that property visit for you for the date and time you both can go.
