Hey guys,
I've been an agent for about a month up here in Northern Colorado. Aside from hosting other agents open houses every weekend, I'm having a hard time coming up with cheap ways to generate leads. My mentality is get out there and meet as many people as possible since I have only lived here a year and don't have a huge sphere. I've decided door knocking is probably my best bet and am hitting the pavement tomorrow. What are your guys opinions on this old-school method? Also any tips would be appreciated. As always thanks!

So hopefully I'm not breaking any advertising rules or anything on here but I just got my license and will be working primarily in the Fort Collins area as well as any deal I can get my hands on in Northern Colorado. This local forum doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic but if anybody has any questions about the local market feel free to PM me!

Hey guys,
So for those who didn't know, I passed my test and decided to hang my license with Keller Williams. All I am waiting for now is my license application to get approved. Until then I've been doing what I can without a license, like purchasing business cards and that stuff. I am going to Florida for a week on Monday and everything should be set when I get back. KW provides a lot of training in tools that keep me busy, but what I want to know is what are the habits of some of you successful agents? How does a typical day go for you guys and what advice do you have for a newbie? I have spent a lot of time and energy trying to get to this point and want to really hit the ground running. Any advice is welcome.
Also if you guys got any books, podcasts, that sort of thing to recommend drop them here as well!
Thanks!

Hey BP family,
So I passed both the national and state exam yesterday on the first try. I doubt anybody remembers but a month or two back I posted in this forum asking if I should drop the online schooling and go to a traditional one since I didn't feel like I was learning much the online method. I was essentially told to man up which is what I did, finished the course and aced the tests. So thanks to all the people who pushed me.
I failed to find a brokerage to work for before I was finished, not the end of the world since I'm leaving the state in a week for a mini vacation and just want to find one before them. I plan on going to the local Keller-Williams and checking them out because I have heard they have an outstanding training program which is what I am looking for. My question to you guys is do you know of any other brokerages that provide any good mentor ship or training programs that I should check out?
I look forward to the feedback and thanks for all the support!
