Did your rent increase $25? If so they likely needed to bump up the amount they held for the security so they still had one months' rent held. Or perhaps do you have a pet? Some landlords will hold a pet deposit but that amount is rather low for that.

Nice post, @Jason Hatfield. You're so right about this. If you want something you have to go out and ask for it. The world is not going to place things in your lap.
And yes, I think it's a little nutty that someone who wanted the mower watched it sit at the end of your driveway for two months and in all that time they never walked up the driveway to ask you about it.

Hi @Eric Bousquet,
Welcome to the site. Great to meet another local investor. There is a great REIA group that meets at Theodore's in Springfield monthly (though off for the summer).
I just realized that your post was actually from April but I'm posting this anyway. It never hurts to say hi to a local connection. So, hi! :)

I think it looks great, especially the goal against the wall paint color. Nice job, @Shannon Sadik!

Thanks for the mention @Michael Noto. Here's a shot of my card in case it helps. I consider mine something I would use to communicate with potential partners (contractors, agents, lenders, property managers) more so than something I would give to a potential seller. I'll probably make up another batch at some point marketing to them, with information like "I buy house cash, Quick closing", etc.

Wow, that's scary. I use the site as well and I've probably overly-relied on the results. Thanks for posting this Chan.
