My name is Gary. I am an investor in the collin county area and a real estate agent as well. I agree with your approach. I don't think your reputation will be ruin because the agents should understand the price have to make sense to an investor. Feel free to pm me if you haven't found an real estate agent yet.

Every brokerage is different. I just interview with a broker. Each brokerage have their own fees and training. Some fees can be very high. Some of them have mandatory meeting and stuff. Just have to see which brokerage is best suited for your situation.

Welcome. I am an part time investor in the north dfw area. Market is really hot right now. I purchased a primary residence back in April and there was crazy amount of competition in Allen. I have always been interested in small multi family but I am not too familiar with it on how to purchase them other than seeing them on loop net. As for single family, I like to use redfin to browse around to look at comps and zillow rental to look at other competing rental prices. Hope that helps a little.

My name is Gary Wong. I been on BiggerPockets for a couple of months now. I just realize I never created an introduction. Just want to formally introduce myself. I live in Allen, TX. I have been a landlord since January 2015. I currently own one rental property in McKinney, TX. It's a single family property.
I have been studying to become a real estate agent. I just passed my national and state test yesterday. I am looking to start out as real estate investor friendly agent. Any insight or recommendation on how to get started is highly encourage and appreciated.
Thanks,
Gary Wong
