My primary focus is buyers so I have a landing page that will take you to my property listing site. My listing site is a wordpress platform that has a SEO pack to help me on the search engines. A so called web site has to much information on it and can distract your client to the point where they don't choose anything. A simple landing page (Squeeze page) gives them only one choice.

If the Gov. is giving us lemons, we just have to make lemonade. Being legally creative in real estate financing is just one of the great things about Real Estate. If they put up a restriction of some sort there are multiple ways to go around it. Besides, I'm sure the Gov. has many family and friends in our line of business and I seriously doubt that they would fully restrict them from making a living.

Teri, if its my first time doing a deal with a buyer I will require a $2,000 non-refundable deposit. After a couple of repeat buys with the same buyer, i will lower it to a $1,000. Once a relationship has been built between me and that buyer a deposit becomes unnecessary.

Vumber is a pretty good service. Sometimes you run into call distortion and your vumber line not ringing but overall it is a good deal for the price per month.

I was reading a few pages this morning in a book (Real Estate Rain Maker) and it stated that a survey was taken a few years ago and found that 16% of people found some ones website through search engines, 18% found sites through strategic links but 66%[/b] of people found sites through direct navigation(business cards, flyers, t-shirts, postcards). In a ongoing effort to do better marketing, I wanted to take a survey to find out of the 3 strategies mention which do you find to be more effective for you? As for me right now Bandit signs and Business cards has been the best for me as well as referrals. I have only spent a couple of months building a online presence so I have had little success through search engines and links of any sort(For Now)!
