Hey @Zach Crawford, congrats on thinking big with a 5-10 unit building.  Something to consider if you don't own a home yet would be to "house hack" a smaller (<4 unit) property and get a true investment property as well.

Hey @Evan Campbell, congrats on getting interested in Real Estate Investing.  BP is a great resource, I started out owner occupying my first investment property too! I think thats a great way to learn the basics and figure out what its going to take. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

I agree with Allen, we allow pets and charge a pet fee which by the end of the year should be enough to cover any damages caused.
