Welcome @Andrew Colamartino. Check out some of the local REIA groups, another great way to meet other investors and like minded individuals. Most of these can be found on meetup.com

I haven't been to the Norcal REIA but I've heard good things, I went to the Roseville meet up for the first time last month and it was great. I regularly attend one out at the Doubletree hotel in Arden, and I want to attend one recently started by Joe Metz who also holds one in the Bay Area. Best place to find them is www.meetup.com search "real estate investing" and a ton will come up, just gotta filter through for the good ones, I usually look to the number of members in the group to get an idea.

Welcome @Shawnee McGee from a fellow Sacramento Investor. There are a couple great REIA meet ups in the area that are worth checking out, let me know if you want more details.

Welcome, I'm an investor here in Sacramento as well and am always looking to connect with local investors.  Hopefully see you around at one of the local REIAs or one of the BP meetups.

@J. Martin congrats, that's awesome! I didn't get a chance to meet you at the last BP meet up we had here in Sacramento but looking forward to attending the one in the works in SF and getting a chance to meet you.  Very inspiring stuff. Safe travels.

@Account Closed which counties are you finding these deals in? I've seen SFR for 80k here in CA but all need much more than 8k in rehab.

Welcome Kaisar. Start with the Ultimate Beginners Guide it will layout all the basics for you. There are countless books on the topic of REI as well. Start by educating yourself and networking both on the forums and at local events. Check out meetup.com for local investor meet ups. Cheers.
