Are you referring to random people or your actual friends? If you are referring to your tried and true friends you absolutely need to let them know what your goals are.

This is your inner circle and they will determine your initial success. These are the people who will either accept your decision to be in real estate or think you need to be in a mental hospital for a very long time.

Hey @Joe Detlefsen,

Welcome to the community!

I plan on being on the podcast with Josh and Brandon as well one day.

There's definitely room on that podcast sofa for all of us!

When you have a 9-5 job, its easy to blame your boss for things like not getting paid enough, long hours, etc..etc. When you are an entrepreneur and things go wrong you only have yourself to blame, and I feel that is a hard pill to swallow for alot of people.

@Blake Yarbrough,I am interested in learning about a business formation, but I mainly would like to know about state specific guidelines for a JV venture that I recently posted in the BP marketplace.

When you get a chance please send me the contact info of the attorney you have in mind. Thanks.

Anyone know of a good RE attorney in the Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia or surrounding areas?

What questions do I need to ask to find out if the attorney and I are a good "fit?"

Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome @Justin McCain!

Just curious, but what is it bout Re/Max that sold you? Or better yet, in your opinion, what qualities in a firm did you look for?

I will be sitting for the Wa state broker exam very soon so any advice on what to look for in a firm is appreciated.

Be sure to check out the podcasts- great hosts and always great guests.

Much success

In my area, I have recently seen countless properties go from "pending" status to an active listing again. Here in Grays Harbor county properties are being snatched up left and right by eager home buyers as soon as they are listed. You have to be in the game to win it.

I say go for it, it is worth a shot!
