Welcome @Dontae Scott,

Before you even begin to think about placing signs, do you have your business model already in place? Just asking..

I personally use the bright yellow poster board and hand write all of my signs. My mentor tested 500 different types of signs and found that the hand written yellow posterboard signs pull the most calls. Yes, check your city ordinance too. In my state, its ok to place signs for marketing RE.

I have found some success on Craigslist for finding sign placers. You may have to weed through some flakes though.

I am also "working" with local non profits and having them place signs for me. You heard correct.

Opportunities are endless!

Have you had your first "job" yet?

I would get a 9-5 job, maybe something in marketing, sales or customer service.

Something where you can really focus on building your foundation of skills. And yes, so called buying and selling RE is a skill, something that most anyone can learn with discipline and repetition.

Do you have any family members who are in RE? You may want to seek out a mentor that can guide you and give advice, I know I was lost before I found my mentor.

I am sure you will do well in your endevors. See ya round the site!

In the meantime, can anyone give me advice on how I can handle all these calls?  I am pretty much on the phone for 3 hours a day after I get off work and I am simply exhausted. I estimate I have a 12% response rate with my mailers.

Taking Action,

Crystal

So, when you ask how you should handle the calls are you asking how do you handle the call volume? Or are you asking what technique should you use?

If you are referring to call volume sounds like you need a voicemail system, such as Call fire.

This is a service that is an out of the box system that can closely track your calls and even give you a cool voicemail to text feature through your email.

Nice work!!

Welcome to BP @Frankie Bennett!

Take advantage of all of the *free* resources here on BP.

Do you have someone in your inner circle or family that is may be a landlord or RE broker?

These are the people you want to ask lots of questions of. Build a team of "cheerleaders" that believe in your goals and want to see you succeed. Distance yourself from those that do not contribute to your success.

This guy you met off the dating site sounds like a wise man.

So are you talking to a lender about a personal residence or investment property?

Yes, the podcasts are great and you will find the answers to all of your questions here on BP.

Much success to you!

You can try shooting Taylor Zepp of Zepp Construction an email- zeppconstruction@gmail.com.

Taylor is a super nice guy, he is out of Elma. I am not sure if he does the flooring himself or his subcontractor, but we were going to hire Taylor to do some work on a foreclosure we were looking to purchase as a primary residence not too long ago and would totally recommend him to others.

No...

Instead of looking at Seattle multifamily properties he may be looking at Aberdeen multifamily properties or perhaps Montesano multifamily properties today.

Welcome@Kyle Parks,

All you need to do now is to chunk down that great plan into smaller chunks and go for it.

You have come to the right place, the BP community is an awesome place to connect with like minded folks who share in your passion.
