Does anyone have any contacts we can reach out to so we can get financing for our duplex?
I have a few contact are you trying to close in an LLC or an actual person? The only issues I see is if its in an LLC. I have closed loan amounts that 36k and less with no issues.
We can do either. We 4 different people investing. We have created an LLC but are looking at individual options as well. Can you message me?

Post: 10th Event: Keeping Renovation Costs Down!

This meetup is just starting out! The idea here is to create a community of first time investors, but more importantly, to be persistent in our journey to help each other become financially free. This will become a meetup group that happens every other Wednesday evenings from 7pm to closing.
At the 10th Event we're going to be discussing some great ways on keeping renovation costs down and how I was able to get some great deals on appliances for the new place I purchased!
I'm hoping to slowly develop a community of first time investors coming together to help one another get into real estate. We will stay connected with blog posts I host on my site, upcoming interviews, a community wide slack channel, and more.
If you need a bit of inspiration, you can check out our blog at startuprei.com where my wife and I go through our weekly struggles of learning REI to try and become financially independent.

This 9th event will focus on part 2 of my very first deal. Don't worry if you missed the first one, still come out and we will discuss cap rates, NOI, and what improvements will make sense when renting out the unit.

Of course! There's plenty of seating. Just bring a jacket because it can get windy.

This 6th event is going to be about crunching the numbers and seeing if it makes sense to purchase the property you're looking for, be it a BRRRR, conventional, hard money, or other means. We'll have open discussions after. It's going to be great.
