Hi Jeff. I'm such newbie, I don't know about the meet up in Santa Monica. I'll search for it. I have a couple of commitments, but will check out the info.

@Mindy Jensen Wow! I thought this only happened here, in California. I was recently at a Realtors' Association luncheon where realtors and affiliates network to share ideas, trends or in this case scams and one Title writer warned of this scam. Luckily for us, she was very clear about how you could protect yourself.
