What is the difference between a home equity line of credit and a home equity loan? I know that both are secured loans, putting up your home as collateral for the money you borrow. But what's the difference?

Thanks for the tip. I got in touch with Calcoast and the auto purchase loan offer seems good to me.

But I have to check PenFed as well.

2. don't buy clothes that don't fit. not only clothes, but also anything that you don't need. there's a huge difference in the things that we want and the things that we need, so better stick to the needs.

I have already tried different investments. Stocks, bonds, bank savings, educational plans,  trust funds and foremost in a real estate.  I consider purchasing a house and lot for investment that I could count on when I get older. I can even entrusted it to my kids in the future with greater value.

We spotted a good car lately but we can't afford to pay it in cash. Since, we have the intention of purchasing a new vehicle for our family, we are still finding other options. It is whether to find other dealers that can give us a good deal or good loan rates. Otherwise, we might consider a used family car with an affordable price. What are your thoughts about this. Please tell me more or your advice about buying and financing a vehicle.

It would help if the forums page is easier to navigate. Plus, some threads contain replies/comments once you open them but the number of replies are not shown on the main window. Cheers! :-)
