Hi all! I'm brand spanking new and I'm building out my professional team. I am looking for a CPA/tax strategist that is local to Columbia, SC or within close proximity to Columbia. I met with one CPA already, but I want to have a few options. Specifically looking for someone who has investments themselves and is very savvy in RE. Anybody have recommendations? Very grateful!
Not local to Columbia but in SC (near Greenville) and they work w/ lots of RE investors - me included

Hey Zach, I have loans w/ 13 banks in Columbia (most of my stuff is student rentals near USC in 29205/29201)
What's your ideal loan look like?

@Koren Shoshan where in SC is it?
What I'd do first.
1. call the County tax assessor
2. tell them the asking price
3. Ask "What would my taxes be if I paid this?"
South Carolina property taxes are brutal. Reassessment could make this an instant no. I got blindsided by this in 2006-2007 and I still remember it!
