As far as if its an AirBnB, I don't believe so. If abated, I think you should be good to go too. I know in New Orleans it was just kind of assumed that there was lead based paint on things. That would probably be a question for your local RE agent though. 

Not sure I understand the question. As in, what are you paying the realtor in commission on the land, and then you are developing yourself? 

 Piggybacking off of Erik... they are very niche and a heavy lift to make the numbers work.

I can second this and say that if you are willing to go all in, RE is awesome. I didn't go to college so I may be biased, but I can honestly say that I don't see how it would be relevant to the skills needed for investing/sales. Maybe if you wanted to go to a large institutional lender, but other than that, just get out there and get your reps in.

I second that. Charlotte is awesome, lots of growth and the surrounding markets are full of opportunity. Let me know who I can plug you in with! 

I would say get hooked up with a good agent. Duplexes are hard to come by here, but they pop up occasionally. I'll shoot you a PM with some agents I know and trust!
