The MLS is generally reliable, you could check auditor records to compare. Or just call the listing agent for accurate details. Partner with a good anent in town and they could help flush out some of these inconsistencies.

HI James, I'm sorry your in this situation. It is extremely frustrating to me because we own an Investor only GC Business in the Columbus market and this situation gives us all a bad rap. Others have given you great advise on this thread and some our group has done work for and i'm sure could speak to our name. My advice would be to get what you can from the current situation but don't let it discourage you from your goals, keep your project moving forward and line up the next. This situation will resolve itself and you will be on to the next one. If we can be of service please do not hesitate to reach out.

These guys are all on top of the market. We are a investor only General Contracting company, on top of being RE Investors and Landlords ourselves which allows us to specialize in maximizing our clients returns through different strategies. 50% of our current client load is out of state so we are very much set up to communicate and run financials through our Project management software. After these gentlemen point you in the right direction let us know if you need some boots on the ground. Best of luck

Obviously all Building and zoning ducks in a row. A plan for all MEPs to be seperate. Make sure that any shared walls are free from any of the separate mep's and that you can fire block completely. A good GC can be a big help with all of this.

Good strategy, all depends on the opportunity you find. MFH will probably give you more options when you exit but there will be less opportunities. Get on all the popular facebook and networking groups, Columbus Dealmakers, Cream, Foundations. If for nothing else to run comps and evaluations. Attend events and meet people and keep moving forward. Be persistent.
