My brother has a property under contract and looking to move the process along as fast as possible.  He doesn't like the reviews for the first contractor that came to see the property.  Does anyone have a recommendation?  Plant City is just East of Tampa.  Thanks! 

Was the last event limited seating?  I'd love to make it to the next one which I assume won't be 2015, but looking forward to 2016!

@Mitzi Castiglione I go to a lot of meet ups, I'll be at the South Tampa TBREIA this Tuesday.  Hopefully you and your husband can make it.  

@Mitzi Castiglione Winter strawberry Capital of the World! Always nice to meet another local PC investor. I'll keep you in mind if I come across something in the area. I focus East of I75 into Polk county as that's where I want my rents to be. Do you ever go to any of the REIA meet ups?

@Mitzi Castiglione welcome to BP and congrats on your quick successful start!  What areas do you focus in?  

@Jeff Rabinowitz I do not buy, sell, or originate notes.  I just know a good amount of people in the Tampa Bay Area that do.  And I want to be clear that I'm not saying the Dodd-Frank rulings are something to not be concerned with.   

@Jeff Rabinowitz there are many investors out here that buy, sell, trade, put options on notes, etc.  of course the seasoning of the note affects the discount they are looking for.  

@M Marie M. if the people above aren't able to hell you could look for an investor that would buy the note from you after you do the owner financing.  What part of central FL?

@Don Seidel my buy and hold properties are being moved to land trusts.  I believe land trusts are the way to go for buy and hold.
