Glad you got it resolved Andrew! Postlets is a great resource. I've created ads, gotten excellent response and sold properties using it. Hope you have good luck too!

Thanks Jeff for the link. I did read that thread, and am hoping that more have tried PURLs in the 10 months since it was posted. Would be very interested in hearing more about how they've worked.

Hi All,

I've been reading up on PURLs and am thinking about integrating them into one of my September mailings to see if they affect response rate.

Has anyone tried these, and if so would you share your experience with us?

Thanks, Alison

I'm with Aaron on that one, especially since it's next door to your building.

Just yesterday I hand-delivered a note and business card to a house where I've been trying to get in touch with the owner for weeks via phone and e-mail. His cousin answered the door so I at least know now my message got inside . . . . !

@Chris Feltus EDDM does not do door hangers, but they put a direct mail piece in every mailbox within your selected routes.

Does anyone have experience with both door hangers and the USPS Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM)? After factoring in the cost of hiring someone to distribute, it looks like EDDM can also be cost efficient. Anyone tried it?

So @Michael Quarles , are the rules of 6 degrees of separation anything more specific than just working your network?

There are a lot of free resources on the BP Forums page, including e-books,podcasts, and forum postings on wholesaling. Be sure to make the most of those before you start buying stuff. I've been wholesaling for 5 years and still take advantage of those resources.

I would also venture to say that wholesaling is an umbrella topic, made up of gaining expertise in sub-topics including marketing for deals, negotiating, looking for buyers, contracts, and working with title companies. There is plenty to read on each of these topics both on and off BP.

Hi Ky. I used to have a premium membership to LoopNet but decided it wasn't worth the expense. While I did get a jump on the "premium" property listings, what I saw was that they were selling for full retail and I want to buy at a discount. I look for industrial properties so it may be different for you.

I believe they have a free try-before-you-buy feature, have you checked it out?
