We're planning to go also!  Looks like a great opportunity for wholesalers and investors alike.

Hi Thomas!  I'm from Greensboro (Pleasant Garden to be exact.)  We lived in Columbia SC while my husband was in graduate school at USC.  We own a house in PG and are getting started in real estate investing.

Good luck with your investing!

Congratulations BP!  I feel like I'm getting another master's degree with your incredible website.  The connections I'm making, along with all the knowledge I'm receiving through the webinars, podcasts, ebooks, forum posts, etc., etc. are helping me prepare myself and my family for great things in real estate investing.  Keep up the great work!  And thanks to everyone who contributes selflessly here!

I really think it depends on what you want from The MBA program.   I got my MBA, and the reason was purely seeking more knowledge in different areas of business like finance,  organizational behavior,  IT systems,  strategic thinking,  and leadership.   There are many valuable aspects I learned as well, like consulting principles,  negotiating,  teamwork, and time management.

However,  if you are a budding entrepreneur and need specific skills, I don't know if spending so much time in an entire MBA program is best for your growing business.  Perhaps you should focus on what you do well and hire others to do those other aspects you lack.

I am very happy to having the knowledge and experiences from my MBA but I do recognize that it might not be the best use on an entrepreneur's valuable business-building time.

@Mick Donahue   Hi there!  Welcome to BP!  It sure is a small world.  Have you been in Malaga for a while?  We've been living outside Seville for almost 13 years I guess.  We are getting things ready for our move this summer back to NC.  I had hoped to get to Madrid during Semana Santa and perhaps meet up with Colin, but after all we didn't get up there.  If you are around Seville sometime, please let me know.  If there's anything I can help you with when we get to NC, please let me know too.  I'll be in the Greensboro area.

Welcome @Edwin Bailey!  I'm from NC and new to RE investing and BP.  I've been reading a lot here on BP and listening to  all the podcasts.  May we all achieve our RE dreams....

Welcome @Russell F.!   I'm from Pleasant Garden (south of Greensboro).  We are living in southern Spain, but plan to move back home this summer.  I own a home in PG, but am new to real estate investing.

I think there is a Triad RE Investors association that meets regularly.  I plan to go to their meetings when we move back.   Since January I've been on Bigger Pockets daily reading all I can, listening to podcasts, etc.  I'd like to start networking with others in the area, and start wholesaling, and buy and hold soon after that.

Congratulations on your first multifamily purchase!  I hope to be able to say the same in the future!  By the way, how many doors (units) are in this new property?
