Hi Friends! I showed a house today in a fantastic neighborhood of Minneapolis that I think would make a great short term rental house. Do you know anyone looking for something like this??? Close to downtown and would be appealing many different classes of short term renters as it has some historical significance but none of the historical property designation red tape.

Hey Joel, it's not just about the money. I have so many friends starting businesses hat need commercial space and it also come from and interest in knowing how this aspect of real estate works. It seems like no one does cross over which is what I'd like to do.

Hi Friends! I'm a realtor currently working and doing pretty high volume in Minneapolis area residential sales. I'm thinking about transitioning to commercial and wanting to chat with others working in this area. Who are your fave brokers and agents working in commercial in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and twin cities suburbs? I know a few commercial investors who are encouraging this move but I want to learn a bit more about this biz first. Thanks!!

Alright friends. I've decided to keep aggressively paying the student loans WHILE keeping my eyes open (and actively shopping) for rental deals. I figure, if I'm at least going through the motions of buying an investment property if one jumps up and bite me I will be ready. I really appreciate all of your input and discussion on this, it makes me feel less crazy for having these similar conversations in my own head =)
