Always stick with the platform.
Also when using PayPal, use trusted friends & family, they can't reclaim it if they want to.

I go to IKEA for furniture and other stuff in the market place.
I go to Target to pick up appliances.
I can get in/out of IKEA in about 1.5 hours, hoping to shorten it as my system gets better.
I've started up four vacation rentals in the past five months. Having to hunt for deals on Craigslist, and driving out to see a potential failure, is too risky, and not a good use of my time.
All my units pretty much look the same, but hey who cares? It's not like my tenants will be staying in all of the units at the same time.

@Ariel Smith, could you elaborate on #6? What do you mean by host profile vs traveler profile? Are they suspected to be tracked differently somehow?

@Bryan Pham, well, those other two some extremely pricy areas. Good luck finding an investment there. Of course it's possible, but you'll put in more time and effort.
I don't have experience buying property in the Bay Area, other than attempting to find something within my budget and failing to. Sorry.

Why dont you FHA loan a duplex/triplex? That'd be my goal if I had that much capital.
There are a bunch in SJ if that's a feasible place for you to live.

Why limit your funnel? I use them all. AirBnB, VRBO, TripAdvisor, Zillow.
The larger your funnel, the more people making inquiries, the higher your price can be.
