Anyone on this thread have any feedback on converting a state retirement account into a SDIRA or a Solo 401k? I am new to all this and am still very confused at all the information provided. Definetly better informed after reading and will continue to read and seek more information. Does anyone have any opinion on a custodian for the SDIRA?

Thanks!

Hoping to do one in Westminster with my primary property in next couple months. Looking for a good real estate lawyer and title company to ensure the paperwork is solid. Thanks

Not sure if this forum is the correct one to post. Can anyone recommend a good real estate lawyer and Title company in Carroll County MD or within 20-30 mile radius? Have some questions regarding setting up a lease option purchase and/or rental option and writing up a contract for it.

thank you

Appreciate all the feedback and education, property is not listed on the MLS. I have posted on Craigslist, Zillow, Trulia and some other one linked through them. I have gotten quite a bit of interest and today was the first time a RE agent from Westminster MD called and asked about compensation if she were to bring her client on for lease.

I know that here, if the property is listed on the MLS and a realtor brings a tenant, it is typically 10% of 1st months rent, but I suppose that it's probably a negotiable amount depending on circumstances. Sounds a little stiff to me, but a PM would probably charge that.

Yeah i thought it was a little high!

I am in the process of renting/lease option for my primary property. I had an agent call me with a perspective tenant. She asked if i would entertain paying a commission for bringing in a renter? She stated that it would be equal to half a month rent? Is this average or common practice?

Thanks
