Welcome, @Jennie Jones! So glad you've rediscovered Bigger Pockets early in your real estate investing journey...and welcome to land lording, too ;) Although two years experience makes you an old-timer already!

A few tips that may be helpful to you here on the BP website:

You can set up keyword alerts so anytime someone posts about any of the markets you're evaluating, you'll be notified. That could be a great way to find and stay engaged with local investors, realtors and opportunities. http://www.biggerpockets.com/alerts

You can also search for other investors or brokers in your market and follow their journey on Bigger Pockets here: https://www.biggerpockets.com/search/users

And of course, be sure to subscribe to the podcast - so much great info there and also full of inspiration. Always time well spent...

Best of luck to you and look forward to following your success on BP!

Hello, @Dolly La Salle...welcome to Bigger Pockets.

I've heard of folks who received a lot of value from training / boot camps (full disclosure - I don't have any insights on the particular program you mentioned), but I know many more people who took advantage of free resources on Bigger Pockets and their local REIA groups to build their expertise and launch their REI career.

Perhaps it comes down to your position now and your goals. If you're trying to get into simple buy-and-hold single family home portfolio, that is a lower complexity path and can be learned through existing (free) resources. If you are focused on large, multi-family properties requiring syndication or other complexities, you would likely benefit from specialized training.

Either way, I second the sentiment of @Account Closed...we have to take action on what we learn, whether on BP podcasts or in a $700 boot camp. So if it motivates you to act, I'm all for it!

Best of luck to you and look forward to following your success!
