My wife and I will be moving there summer 2019.  Happy to join or help get it started.

Would anyone buy with expected negative cashflow in the first 5-6 years?  Looking to do low down payment that will affect cashflow because my family and I will live in the house for the first couple of years and want to live in a more desirable location/home.

Thoughts?

Thanks BP friends!

Wow!  I always love the support and feedback from the BP community!

Thank you!  I am currently helping my wife with our newborn third son, so will reach out in the coming days/weeks as time permits.

Looking forward to connecting and learning from you all and working with you as well!

Best,

-D

Friends,

My family and I just learned we are moving to Colorado Springs starting next July.

Looking to buy something for our time there that will serve as an attractive rental following an eventual departure down the line.  But also interested in local elementary schools while we are there too.

We will be there long enough for FHA to be a possibility, but higher down payment is possible, especially to help with rental cash flow later.

Eager to meet some agents, get some property management co recommendations, and even any local lenders.

This will be my first time living back in the U.S. for any significant period of time and am excited also to comment w BPers out there.

Hope everyone is having a great summer!

i have ine property about 7500 km away from me and another a bit under 9000 kn away.  Depends on the situation.  As an investment with good on site management, kinda doesn't matter.  I haven’t even ever seen one of my properties.

i am very happy with Chandler and her team at suncoast

BP friends,

I have been on the site for about four years, and somewhat actively posting, reading, and listening for the last year-plus.  I realize I never formally introduced myself after engaging with many of you and getting a warm welcome and lots of great advice!

I'm originally from the NY Hudson Valley, but now living overseas.  While not military, I have many similar circumstances, including the constraints, as an investor.

Right now I am aiming to continue educating myself, but I would like, ideally, to reach out to folks in Jacksonville, FL (and other FL areas), Alabama, and Tennessee to build teams and expand my investments.  Aside from financing (my own primarily, but also potential partners/investors), I have a legal background and other value-added skills to bring to the table in any deal(s).

Looking forward to continuing my learning and building lucrative relationships with many of you!

Best

friends, I have been with Suncoast Pm for a few minths now and like their weeklies, speed of payments, and reaponsive customer service.  Only beenusing them a brief while and opted for hem as a sort of default option as they were the current PM when I bought the property.  As I am only with them for about six months, I have not had any issues or emergencies (thank heaven) but so far so good.

Friends, just confirming: i purchased a SF investment property in Florida (Ducal co., Jacksonville) in 2017 and want to confirm there is no paperwork I need to file in Florida.  My understanding is that the rental income is straight up income and since there is no income tax I do not need to file any paperwork.  I just want to confirm that there is no form I need to complete and submit as a formality.

Thanks!
