Hey all, hope everyone is having an awesome Summer! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again this month at Bunker Brewing. This month's meet up will be on the third Wednesday of the month, August 18th at 5:30! I know plenty of our regulars have been wheeling and dealing so I'm excited to hear what everyone's been up to!! Everyone is welcome to come, no experience necessary - come, learn, and drink beers!

There is quite a bit of demand in OOB for LTR as many tenants there can only rent seasonally (Sept/Oct-May) and then need to find new housing for the summers when landlords switch over to weekly summer rentals. The weekly rates are going to vary depending on exactly how far you are from the beach so I would dig into what you can find on airbrb, fbook marketplace and also craigslist. There are many mom and pop landlords that may still advertise on CL so that would be a good place to look. Also, I'd encourage you to take a weekend and drive around the neighborhood by the two condos. Some landlords may have a sign out front that says "weekly rentals" with a website or phone number. You could call the number to inquire about their weekly rental or check out their website that looks like it's from 2005!

@Allison Meggison I’d have them give CPort Credit Union a call. I’ve seen them work with folks with pretty questionable credit scores. They will obviously still need to come up with at least 3.5% down. Otherwise, get them hooked up with a lender that will take a look at their credit report and help them make a 6 month plan to raise their score to a place where they can qualify for a loan. If you need names of any lenders that will do this than dm me.
