@Crystal Hammond I would get educated on wholesaling and what's entailed. There are lots of great guides and information on this site. Also go to some local REIA meetings to network with local professionals

@Rowena Agustin are you using an attorney to protect yourself in this transaction? Who are you supposed to wire the funds to? Who prepared the settlement statement? There are a few lurking questions

@Mike Shirley I agree with Jake that you should find a good experienced CPA to help you. There is not only the rental income, but expenses, depreciation, cost segregation, etc. lots of good tax tools to help :)

@Corey Crane it depends what’s markets you are looking at. In the Midwest and south, $200-300 is a good net but in expensive markets like NYC or California, that probably wouldn’t make it worth your while

@Rex Celle that's great that you have a rental portfolio in two states. I also have a portfolio in AL, IN and MS. I see the profits on flips going down due to all the hype again and low entry points with loans again. I look to continue adding to my rentals in other markets.
