@Jason Burr regarding starting an upstate south carolina group, we have actually had two BP meetups in the last two months at Coffee Underground in downtown Greenville. Possibly your keywords didn't catch it, but we have tried to reach out to as many BP members in the area. Problem we have run into now is BP took our posts down for organizing a meetup as we don't have a Pro account. We are working on getting another one organized in the near and will let you know when it gets put together. Good Luck with your investments!

I think they have free internet from talking with a few people but have never tried to log on myself. In regard to the meetup tomorrow, I am about 50/50 on being able to make it due to some unforeseen circumstances but will try my best. If I can't make it, I will definitely set a date for another meeting in the near future and figure out how to let everyone know.

Welcome Corey! BP is a great resource and you will learn tons of info on investing. We are starting to get some people together for BiggerPocket meetups in the Greenville area and will be having another one soon. As Brandon said, set up some keyword alerts and be on the lookup for the next meetup in Greenville.

If there are any specific dates that would work for anyone in September for another meetup let me know. I would like to schedule another meeting at Coffee Underground in the next few weeks. 

Any suggestions/comments on how to grow the meetings or ideas please let me know as well. I will try to accommodate as many peoples schedules and thoughts as much as possible to make it a meaningful meetup.

Welcome @Zion Greenfield. Last week we had a BP meetup for investors in the area and sounds like something that would be beneficial to you in the future. Next week Thursday a few of us are getting together again to walk through some flips. I will tag you in the group. Good luck on all of you future investing!

After the first successful meetup, we are going to plan another meetup for investors in the Greenville, Mauldin, Simpsonville, Spartanburg, and surrounding areas. This time we are going to meet at a house that was recently flipped and in the process of being sold by one of our members @Chris C.. Chris is actually rehabbing a few homes in the area and it will be a good chance to look at various stages of flips in progress, from beginning to completion. Here are the details:

When: Thursday, August 27 at 6:30PM

Where: 111 Grapevine Ln Liberty, SC

What: Discussion and walkthough of houses in various flipping states

Bring a folding chair if you would like a place to sit as the homes are unfurnished. Please feel free to pass the info along to any interested investors. I am also going to bring a sign-in sheet where everyone can provide their name and contact information. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
