@Lisa Donaldson amazing job buying properties in the other side of the globe! I am a bay area investor and planning to buy properties out of state primarily in Indinapolis due to the high price of the properties in my back yard, I have a rental in Elk Grove partnered with family and cash flow wasn't great. Happy to connect

Hi guys, this is awesome, we've got folks in the bay area in this thread, awesome job @Gorden Lopes for starting it
I live in San Leandro and focusing on buying MFH in Indy and in the Midwest. I use to work for Salesforce who have their tower built in Indy and the job market there is quite good. I have not jump the gun yet investing out of state, I have a rental property partnered with family in Elk Grove, CA and although the property appreciated, cash flow was almost nothing, it was a good learning experience.
@Gorden Lopes pls. add me in the meetup, would be cool to hang out and exchange ideas with our fellow bay area investors like @Tyler Jahnke and @Ernesto Hernandez and the rest of the folks in this thread. Looking forward to it guys!
First round of beer is on me! :) I can usually meet up on Friday or Saturday nights, maybe on weekdays given ample notice as this guy just got married 1 month ago and have a full time gig as well. Cheers!!!

Hi @Ali Boone, thank you for the very detailed and helpful response! :) I also read your profile, great job from moving from an engineer to a full time investor, love it!
For #1, if your niche is MFH, where will you invest? I thought that the Texas market was good.
For #2, after reading your article, it was eye opening and matches with Brandon's comments on LLC.
I will send you a pm to connect, thanks in advance!
