Sorry David. I don't know any in that area. I'm posting to give this a bump so hopefully more will see it. @Natalie Kolodij do you know anyone you could recommend?

Hello fellow Washingtonians!
I'm looking for an experienced investor (flipping, buy and hold, or brrrr) from Burlington on up the I-5 corridor that I can invite to lunch. I'd love to learn how you got started and what you've found to be the most successful in our area. If you're willing, I'd also love to shadow you on a deal: I want to learn how to be successful at this business, and I know learning from experts like you as you go about your trade is the best way to do that.
Respectfully,
Robert

Hey everyone. I'm going to do my best to get there, but I just got assigned to a late meeting and won't be able to leave Anacortes till 6:30 or so. Still, I hope to be able to meet a few of you!

@Ryan Taylor Welcome, welcome! As Julian and Julie mentioned, we have some awesome meetups in the area that are a great resource.
I'm like you, just getting started and looking to meet with more experienced investors to learn the ropes.
Once of the things I'm doing, just to gain practical, hands on experience, is helping my father- and brother-in law build a small house down south. All I can do is help on the weekends, but its going to be valuable experience for future flips and renovations down the road.
Shoot me a college invite; i'd be happy to talk to you about what I know of the area. Its always good to have a college. Who knows, I may have just found my future PM :D

I'd love to know this too. There are tons of forms on this site, but what have people found to be most effective?

@Shawn Ackerman is a wholeseller in Milwaukee. He has a really good thumb on the area, and probably has a few properties you could pick up.

@Kristopher Gomez How did you identify the absentee owners? Did Yellowletterscomplete have an option that identified them, or did you just specify that in the post cards?
Also, how much of your own money, if any, are you putting in to lock down the property?

Sorry Colin, no answer here. Just posting so that this gets renewed and hopefully someone else sees it.
