I'm interested in investing in Charlotte.  Not in apartments but to companies providing Home and Community Based Services to individuals with special needs.  Do you know of any companies that do that?

Maybe you can get someone on BP to buy it and leave you in place.

That had to be uncomfortable, but congrats.  If you hadn't forced the issue he wouldn't be getting those benefits.

Why wouldn't you have a CPA keeping you on the straight and narrow?

@Cole Johnson   I have bought houses on several occasions from non profits at good discounts.  They have other things to consider than getting top dollar.  If you are comfortable with the other aspects of the property I wouldn't over think why you are getting it at a discount.  It sounds like a going out of business sale to me.

@Shane H.  Thanks for sharing your story.  I've been kicking around ALF but haven't pulled the trigger.  I rent to companies that provide HCBS for special needs individuals.  Do you know of any companies like that in Wichita?  Thanks.
