thanks Matt. I will let you know what I find.
I am working on getting my CA sales person license. I heard that there are listing agents that would offer homeowners to list their property on the MLS for a flat fee ($500). Can a licensed salesperson ask for a flat fee only to list their property on the MLS for the owner and not do any work after it's been listed? Does this mean that the homeowner will sell the property on their own? If the property sells, is there a commission owned to the brokerage firm?

Anyone recently take the Real Estate Express Online School for their CA Salesperson Exam? I am wondering how its Exam Prep Master compares to the real State Exam.
Jason - I sent you a PM with my e-mail address. Thanks.
Thanks everyone!
what is a good prep exam course for the CA salesperson state exam? I heard real estate centre was good but I went with real estate express. I am trying to find a prep course that have practice questions which are VERY similar to the real state exam.

Thanks Tim. If you can send me the info, that would be great. I am skimming through the pre-req courses online and it's not sinking in. I definitely need to be in test mode a few weeks prior to my exam.

I am currently taking my pre-req courses online to take my state exam (CA). If I read each page one by one and go through the courses, I will probably be done with all 3 courses in about 5 months. I probably will not even remember what I carefully read and studied by the time I take the test.
Anyone pass the CA exam by skimming through the 3 course pre-req and then studying the exam questions AFTER you were done with the pre-reqs? I think that approach will work best for me so I can retain the info better. I wanted to see how other people studied for the CA real estate salesperson exam. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. I have a 9-5 job in IT so I'm trying to minimize the cost of my MLS access. I heard there are some brokers who do not charge a fee. I'll have to do more research.

As an agent, how much are the dues you pay to your broker to be a member?
