Tenant proofing is obviously an expression as nothing is totally tenant proof but there are some good steps you can take in that direction.

Thanks @Account Closed - I did a few shows with author and attorney, Garrett Sutton, that discuss this issue in great detail. I would post the link but BP will likely delete it since they don't allow links to any resources other than theirs. Generally speaking, I'm guessing you'll want to explore the LLC option but it's better to get that info directly from a lawyer like Garrett.
