I believe they're operating under another name now, REI Guard, however, be sure to confirm this as I don't want to make any mistakes.

No update, they suppressed the adjusters report until we threatened them with legal action and a never paid my claim.

Good points @Joe Krug.  Investment property financing is a specialty, especially nowadays, so it's best to use a lender that specializes in financing investors rather than  typical owner occupant buyers.

Our tenants pay down our mortgages and inflation does too. I call it 'Inflation Induced Debt Destruction' and it's the ultimate hidden wealth creator! Thanks for bringing it up @Will Pritchett!

Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a 'free and clear' property since property taxes are a perpetual lien on everybody's real estate and many have HOAs as another perpetual lien.
