@Jeremiah Russell welcome you will find an engaged real estate investor community here. We do a fourth Thursday meet up monthly (last Thursday unfortunately) and the REIA has a first Thursday one coming up in two days.

Hey there just wanted to give you all heads up that I'll be speaking at the Chattanooga real estate investor association AKA Chattanooga REIA This Thursday August 1st at 6:30.

I'm going to be telling my story of how I went from being diagnosed with leukemia and filing bankruptcy to a multi-millionaire real estate investor with over 125 residential units in my personal portfolio. I think that they charge non-members something like $20 at the door I don't get any of that but I'd sure appreciate it if you came out to support me I think you'll enjoy my talk.

The event is at the Hilton garden inn on shallowford village starts at 6:30 doors open a little bit before that and if you come around 5:30 You can join me for dinner in the hotel bar.  If you see this ad and you join me for dinner be sure to introduce yourself and tell me how you found out about the meet up.

@David Olson when you come to Chattanooga. Be sure to look me up. Also o recommend coming on the fourth week of the month so you can work in our fourth Thursday investor happy hour it's a great place to meet other real estate people in the area. Usually 40-50 people show up.

@John Stutz it's always the fourth Thursday of the month. There is also a monthly reia the first Thursday of the month that one is August 1. Different investors at each group. The local meet up on fourth Thursday is very good but reia has its merits as well

@Robert VanZee I think you should talk with your tax advisor. But in general I'd be careful about having it owned by your primary LLC. Liability has to be somewhat high for airplanes.

Love the idea though. Side note I'm from Hudsonville so maybe next time I get up that way we can grab a coffee or something. I'm in Chattanooga TN these days but end up in MI about 5-7 times a year. I have property in MI, TN and GA
