The first KC property that I investigated was in this area, Luxor Apts.  Apparently there are two redevelopment corridors nearby (one associated with Brad Pitt).

@Edgar Stanislavsky, @Vicky Covarrubias  , @Joseph M , @Chris G.

There will be a local BP Meetup at Westside Pavilion on Sunday 9/21 @ 2pm.  Search 'LA Meetup September 21' for details.

I'll be there Sunday.  I really enjoy the open-discussion format of previous LA Meetups.

The room can be a little hard to find.  Ask directions to the restrooms at the food court. The meeting room is along hallway that intersects the restroom hallway.

Hi @Robert Stephens ,

I have been very happy with William Robison.  We are just finishing acquiring four multis over the past 2 months.  He seems conscientious and has investing experience.  Always kept me in the loop through the process.  He is also a P.M. so he thinks about the long-term role of the rental.

Hi @Christopher Beale ,

I'm interested in your findings about the Kansas City REI clubs. Could you give a critique?

Hi @John Lewis ,

Managing for someone else is certainly a good introduction to buy-and-hold investing. Your local REI groups may be great for networking, but beware of those that are pitching products.

Can anyone recommend a roofer for flat roof in So Cal foothill area?  Also in search of an investor-oriented GC.

Hi @Frankie Lowe

I have been very impressed with

William Robison

He also does property management & has flipping experience so he looks at deals like an investor.  He is helping me with several acquisitions right now and will be the P.M.

Sounds like you are close enough to do your own P.M., but I'm sure he would be a good adviser.

South City investors,

I'm looking at a couple of quads on Chippewa just west of Kingshighway.  Any thoughts on the neighborhood?

Crimereports.com showed several RSOs in the area, but no recent crimes along that corridor.

Anyone have properties along there?

@Elizabeth Colegrove, And you have Superior Dairy ice cream.  It's been years, but I still remember.
