My experience with "handymen" in HBG is that they're not very reliable. I do have one that has been good to work with: Brady (I PM'ed you his phone number). However, for anything above basic repairs, I find it's better to contract with a professional that carries insurance.

Harrisburg is more affordable than most areas. Plus, with many hospitals in the area and a lot of state and federal government jobs, it's a good place for REI.

Check out Camp Hill, PA. Close to Harrisburg, nice area, but not super expensive.
