Hey all, currently working a few BRRR deals. While I have read @David Greene's books (and HIGHLY recommend) I found the video below to be an amazing summary from David himself.  Just passing along as I found it helpful!  Have a great thanksgiving

@Bob Prisco thanks for the input.  I should have clarified.  I own 7 units.  This was just the most robust inspection I have had come back based on the size of the property and fact that I wasn't there to witness the walkthrough.  Also this is in north carolina...not long island.

Thanks!

@Patricia Steiner - great points! In this situation I wasn’t able to follow the inspector because this happened a few weeks ago. I obtained the report from my agent.

Maybe I will connect with the inspector themselves to do a walk through!!!

Thanks

@Brian Pulaski - thanks for input! I do have a realtor but the background on this deal was that it was under contract and fell out of contract. This inspection I’ve obtained during that period.

Just looking for someone to help look at the detail.

Hi all, prospecting to buy a rental property. I obtained an inspection. There is a lot on there (not necessarily all bad) but being that the report is very dense, I am having trouble sifting through / understanding all the detail.  The challenge is understanding what is a potential red flag or a non-issue.  Can anyone recommend the type of person to take this to, so I can come back to the seller with questions, non-negotiables?

Wondering if the easy answer is a general contractor?

Thanks all!

@Ariel Kumpinsky such a good question and so many bad answers! Everyone saying it depends what “you’re” looking for but you’re asking what each person would do if they have the money.

I would buy and hold because I have a lot of time to actively manage and participate in the deal. I like the idea of building wealth through equity and generating cash flow at the same time.

If I had less money (0-50k) I would probably participate in a syndication or an investment. Reason being, Id like the chance to get an education and investment at the same time.
