@Thomas Larsen I need someone to go under the crawlspace of one of my apartment buildings in Mount Vernon and check out the condition and find the leaks and make the repairs. Besides working for someone else, what are your real estate goals? With all the money you make you should be buying a duplex to live in one side right now!

@Matthew Konsmo I think Everett has already come up, but still a very good market. Move more north to MV & Burlington, and that's the latest "up and coming."

@Brandon Courtney Way less rain in Anacortes, like 22 in. a year while we sit in this rain shadow. I love the market, always strong from rich retired folks and lots of military presence.

@Adrian Chu THE LUMBER PRICES!!! The double price increase is the most we have seen in the market. We are still building luxury homes for clients but I wonder how long it's going to last and what that is going to do to the market. You take?

@Billy Zhao I think everyone has said what I wanted to say. Some of my residents I increase in small increments, some I leave alone. But right now I can't do my regular yearly increase because of WA State rules in place not allowing me to ask anyone to leave or increase their rents.

@Yonah Weiss I have a degree in Construction Management and it is directly related to my work in real estate. And a great job career too. I come from an investor family, so it was in my blood and I knew it was the path I wanted to take.

@Pete Schmidt Very cool! Was it difficult to get zoning approval for the venues? I hope it's successful for you, and I'd love to see more pictures

@Todd Powell Congrats on the new job! I work in construction management and love the field. What type of projects do they do? But you do have me thinking twice about what I write on the internet. Though I also have a boss that invests in real estate and gives me the time so I can work on mine, so I feel very fortunate and glad it exists elsewhere too.

@John Morgan We have a family going on 20 years, and they pay market rate rent and they are okay tenants. I don't actually wish they have stayed so long. There place is musty and dank and probably some terrible moisture and water damage in the walls. I'm not looking forward to the turnover either

@Michael Barnhart Thanks! No issues at all. This has actually been the easiest listing I've ever had. Two qualified people called within days of listing, came to the showing appointment on time, and followed through with the paperwork and signing. No tirekickers with this high end rental, so it actually made my job easier working with this high end type of clientele.

@Pat D. When we couldn't find what we wanted to buy (at a reasonable price) then we decided to build. It's not for the faint of heart though, I understand why not everyone just goes out and builds either. I hope you can figure out a new build for yourself!
