Fayetteville has a little different take on building, codes and development. Some find the codes more stringent, some appreciate the longer term vision for design and development. Either way, it's good to know what the Planning Commission and City Council are planning - and why.

Sloan Scroggins severed for several years on the Fayetteville Planning Commission and last year won his seat on the City Council. Kevin Parsley is Chairman of the Springdale Planning Commission. He's been instrumental in establishing the Ballpark district, bringing NWA Children's Hospital to the community, developing the Downtown District and making the Master Trail Plan happen. Kevin is a tech guy and works for Acosta providing sales and marketing info for top retailers.

Roy Covert has served on the Springdale Planning Commission for nine years and feels honored to be part of city government. During the day, he is Director of Realty Operations for Store Planning & Construction at Walmart and brings a wealth of knowledge about real estate both big and small.
