Someone asked me the other day if we ever get together and just talk about real estate amongst ourselves. So here it is; no speaker, no teachers, no guru - Just Us!

There's so much going on right now it's hard to keep up and the bottom line seems to be that no one knows what to do about it! We need to hear from young investors who have new, creative ideas - and integrate those with our seasoned investors who may have seen what we're seeing now once or twice before.

Join us for what is sure to be a lively discussion. Share your ideas. Be part of the solution! Some topics we may want to cover:

  • Real estate sales are going down ~ Are prices?
  • Anyone who want to find a job should be able to ~ Are they?
  • What kind of tools will you need in your toolbox ~ whatever happens?
  • Fed has spoken ~ What are banks saying?
  • What can you build now to meet the need?

At our Just Us meetings, we don't have a speaker - just a moderator. All the wisdom resides in our awesome members. Our members tell us they get as much if not more from these meetings as the ones with speakers. So join us ~ share your wisdom and don't be shy. You will learn a lot from each other.

You will make mistakes ~ Learn from them! That is such a great motto, but my favorite is: Mistakes will be made but they don't have to be yours. Tonight our tag-team property managers will share some of the mistakes they've made so you don't have to make them.

It can be an overwhelming world for Buy and Hold investors - so many details and it turns out you probably don't know all of them. From insurance to background checks, leases to lawns, there's a lot to learn. Join us to hear from seasoned managers who will share:

  • The basics: get these right first
  • Hidden tips to lower maintenance
  • How insurance differs for landlords
  • What to know about your tenants
  • Don't leave this out of your leases

Greg and Cass Harris are co-owners of Harris Heights Realty, a real estate and property management agency in Bentonville. Greg has a background in HVAC and Cass is principal broker with a background in marketing. Together they make a solid team providing investors with knowledge, experience and savvy market insights.
