Your plan sounds like a good one. Definitely take advantage of the awesome VA loan that you have earned. Do you already have a VA disability rating? You are exempt from the VA loan funding fee if you do.

To tag someone, type the @ character and then start typing the persons name. Type a few letters then give it a second and the name will pop up and then you just click it.

Can a lender jump in and confirm that appraisals indeed cannot be released until "cleared"? I think this right here is the fail point of this situation.

@Patrick Senas Hopefully you can get some good advice and get this all worked out. Could you possibly put together a rehab/expenses plan to show how you can update the units to raise rents and lower expenses?
