Hey BP. I don't have a real estate license, but I'm on mls all the time looking for deals. Can someone enlighten me on what info a realtor gets off mls verses what I'm able to view. I'm assuming she ( the realtor ) is privy to much more info on it than I am . Or is her advantage that she see's the properties come up before I ( the public ) am able to view it. Any info on this would certainly be appreciated, so in advance, THANK YOU. :)

Welcome Micheal Ryan from a new member to BP myself. I'm looking for flips in the Montgomery area. Happy to see more Houston faces on here. Trying to get my " face" on my profile, but think I will swallow my pride and ask my 13 year old neighbor for help. :) Meanwhile, if You want to talk more about getting started ( one new investor to another ) I would love to hear from you. Hi Sharon. Please keep tabs on me and let me know when you are comming to Houston. I would love hear all about Belize. Curious if you are investing there, or just enjoying the laid back lifestyle. Any and all advice you can send my way will NOT go to waiste. I'm still searching for the key to the gate that houses those sad & lonely REOs that are calling my name. The amount of foreclosures comming across my website is less than half from a year ago, but there are a lot that I've kept my eye on from over a year ago that banks are sitting on. I couldn't agree more Paul and super excited to hear from a fellow Houstonion. I'm overwhelmed with the encouragement I'm getting from everyone. Each time I get a new post, I feel a little less afraid. It's like I have a team of investors right beside me who don't know me, but honnestly want to see me succeed. I'm sooo excited about this journey and can't wait to pay it forward when I have some experience under my belt. Thank you very much Paul.:)

Ok Jon. I will follow through. I haven't read anything else since discovering BP except J Scott's House Flipping book,which I've almost finished. Best How To book I've read to date. I'm trying to navigate through every area of BP. I'm thrilled to hear about the meet ups. If you would Jon, let me know where to go on BP to find out more about that. I'm sure I will come across it eventually, but would love to check into that ASAP. Do you think I could benefit from Basic Pro even though I'm starting with just one property at a time? I've been hoping to hear from a fellow Texan. Thanks Jon for your response. I'm in Montgomery County and am focussing on my city since I know the area well. What would you suggest I do to fully engage myself on Bigger Pockets. I want to soak up all I can and interact as much as possible. Not sure the best way to do that.
