I agree with @Russell Brazil -- having clients may detract from finding your own deals because they take time.
But consider that you and your clients may not have the same criteria. If you come across a good deal that you can't buy, you can recommend it to someone else and vice versa.

@Cam Jimmy -- yes, you typically have to hang an associate's license with a broker. But there are a number of "discount brokers" out there, if you will, that charge a minimal monthly fee and/or low transaction fee. You would also have to pay for your own MLS access through a local board. So I guess this strategy depends on how many deals you're looking to do and if it will pay off in the long run.

Wow! Never a dull moment in real estate!
I agree with others -- first step is to speak with her live to understand her rationale.
If she decides to drop you for them, stick to your price by rejecting the offer with no counter.
Then get a new listing agent. And consider calling the board since she's probably violating duties of loyalty and confidentiality by representing buyers on your deal.
