I have! It was a tricky weird one where the guest who booked wasn't the guest who stayed. It is very tough to get one removed, your best bet is to type a public response.

We do this via an integration with Ownerrez, it's a lower priced PMS solution.

Sounds like a mistake on their part, but due to the company silos they are putting in place as they grow ever larger it may be an uphill battle to get it remedied.

You could go damage deposit or security deposit route. They are both different. You don't need both. Security deposit would be you authorizing and holding an amount on their credit card. Damage deposit would be offered by a third party company. Either way you'll need a PMS such as Ownerrez which we use at my property management company in the Smoky Mountains.

Talk to a bank that does commercial loans. I worked in the industry for 23 years, and that may be your best bet.
