Bottom part I can see a cat doing that..but the upper part? Did he climb up and claw his or her way down??
Or is there something it may have been standing on? ...either way I also vote for animal...

Merced County has led the CV in job growth for the past 3 years. I have been scouting a bit in Atwater and Winton for a different business venture and was pleasantly surprised by the area. My impression is that it is better than investing in Stockton/Modesto/Fresno at the same price points.
Winton, Livingston Merced and Turlock are my current stomping grounds! If you need drive by pics let me know!
I also like Turlock for the State University and great downtown! There are a few rough areas (what town doesn't have them? lol) But it really is a great area! Good schools and friendly people! Lots of older homes, that can make great rentals!
Merced also has a new University, but housing is not close by. (Check out google maps to see the University). Merced went nuts with the last boom and there were many foreclosures.

Seeing all those books on the shelf and the knicknacs and the pot on the stove, It looks like someone is still living there!
Have an "estate" sale, or put an ad for free stuff and I bet most will get hauled away for you! At least the usable furniture and appliances!!

Yes. I am looking at a house with the exact same configuration. Going to remove the double turn that space into a countertop next to new stove. Rather have one stove to replace or repair than two very old appliances that will be time consuming and probably expensive to find!

I am looking to a purchasing a home for cash directly from the homeowner.
The property is located in Wichita County TX. Wichita Falls is the closest major city.
I do not live there, everything will be done over the phone, mail, fax, ect.
What is the process for recording the deed, and paying the taxes?
Do I need to go through a title company? If so, do you know of a good/affordable one to handle the transaction?
I need info on the process, what documentation, time frames, any and all information if possible!
I haven't purchased the property as we are still in negotiation, and just trying to get a feel for the process.
I am excited, and I truly hope this deal goes through!!
Thank you so very much for your assistance!!

There are people who are perfectly happy at their 9-5. Just like a previous poster said 9-5 5 days a week, paid vacation sick leave ect, its a predictability that many people want and are truly happy with.
Then there are those who see past that, who want more than this, and who seek that satisfaction of (and mabey a bit of adrenaline rush) of making those deals, dealing with unpredictability, and those who want to work on their own terms. Not to mention making more in a couple of deals than most people make in half a year.
True there are many variables, but that is what keeps it exciting and yes, mentally stimulating.
What if Donald Trump ( I know a cop out example lol) had given up after listening to many naysayers? Or Warren Buffett? Or The owner of that apartment complex down the street? At a minimum SOMEONE has to do it!! Why cant it be YOU????
