Great event!  I enjoyed networking with people.  The topics were wide-spread but could have used more time to get into some details vs. surface topics.  

@Alexandra Hughes Pailet If there is a way to have color coded name badges or additional flags to stick on the badges to identify what niche people are in, that would be really helpful for networking.  I met a lot of great people but would have loved to hone in more on people working toward the same goals in the same niche.  

I'm excited for next year!!  Hawaii is good for a location :)

Great!  Make sure and download the Yapp app, you can search for the BP conference on there.  There is a social thread on there for folks around for the event.

@Nathan Gesner I didn't have to pay anything for the Yapp app, if you search BPCon2019 it should pop up for free. 

@Jay Hinrichs I'm glad Spokane has been good to you, it's a great place!  I'd love to learn more about what you're doing in this market and what part of town.

Crazy it's almost here!  I'm excited to meet new like-minded people!  @Mindy Jensen, are you attending the off-site Sunday night event?  

@Jeffrey M. , I'd suggest getting on the buyers list for the local wholesalers. You wont find many, if any, deals on the MLS working with a retail Realtor. I don't know your numbers but would guess you're right about dodging a bullet and not getting the "perfect rental" and losing money each month. I would also venture a guess that 95% of Realtors don't know rent prices and what something will rent for when it is rehabbed. Very few Realtors also do Property Management and stay up-to-date on rents. You'd be much better off talking with a PM company about rents or doing a fair bit of research and tracking of rents via Zillow, FB Marketplace and other sites. Don't get too discouraged, you went through the steps of making offers and negotiating - that is half the battle.
