But if you get a tenant with a service animal interested in a unit, you don't really have a choice right?

If your low on funds for a down, give more on the deal in the first year or two, more like a management fee for you and more to the seller to build up your down payment. This can be done as an option price. When you meet the option price, you move into the next phase of the deal, a note and close.

Can you explain that a little more? How do you set that up? Are you saying you would make higher payments to them in the beginning of the loan, to make up for a smaller down payment up front? How do you set up the option?

Thanks!

anyone else? Also, anything about the fha question?

How do you find out things like what rent you will be able to charge for a unit, what kind of amenities the locals need/want, what your maintenance costs will be, etc?

I am trying to crunch the numbers on a few properties but I realized I don't know where to gather a lot of the required info.

Also, can you use an fha loan to buy a multifamily home to live in and also rent out the other part of the house?

Thanks!
