Welcome to the BP family.  Good to see that you jumped right in and became a "Developer".  It is difficult to be in this business and not deal with people when you find out how we can accomplish this feat please share it with us.  That is one course that should be refined years ago I was fortunate to take a course in social styles and thought I became good at it until I encountered the opposoite attracks challange and had to do businee with two opposites at the same time.  Who knew?  Welcome aboard and good luck with your project.

Welcome to the BP family.  I would suggest you study a map and determine what is a realistic distance for you to travel and then contact real estate firms in the area.  You did not indicate if you had interest in acquiring houses that required work.  If you are thinking of buying fixer uppers then you should look closer to home in order to supervise the work that is required.  When you have selected the areas you feel comfortable with I would attend some local real estate investment group meetings so you can better understand the area.  I would also listen to the podcasts and gain as much info as you can prior to starting your journey.  Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the BP universe.  Walk before you run, take baby steps and learn what's going on before you expose all of your funds.  Learn some of the difficulties you need to overcome and some of the money pits.  Document your journey, use some of the controls that are available, explore the dash board for excellent info on how to proceed from inspections to cost control.  Once you get one or two under your belt you can then expand.  Walk before you run, food for thought.
